We’re partnering with a leading technology-driven organisation in Herefordshire seeking 7 Data Engineers to join a growing data and analytics team. Whether you’re an experienced Data Engineer, a Data Analyst looking to step up, or a Full Stack Engineer keen to transition into data, this role offers the support and technical environment to help you develop and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, build and maintain reliable data pipelines and APIs to support business intelligence, analytics, and application integrations.
2. Collaborate with analysts, software engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
3. Work with structured and unstructured data sources, ensuring quality, integrity, and availability of data.
4. Contribute to the development of data models and data architecture best practices.
5. Implement and optimise ETL processes using Python and modern frameworks.
6. Maintain clear and reusable codebases across Python and TypeScript environments.
7. Support data governance, security, and compliance processes across all data workflows.
Key Skills & Experience
Essential:
8. Active DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance
9. Strong proficiency in Python and API development
10. Experience or strong interest in data engineering, data pipelines, and automation
11. Solid understanding of TypeScript / JavaScript and back-end integration principles
12. Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data transformation techniques
13. Comfortable collaborating in cross-functional technical teams
Desirable:
14. Background in Data Analysis or Full Stack Engineering
15. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
16. Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, or containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
