Job Description
Insight Global are looking for a R&D Electrical Engineer to join one of their Large Oil and Gas Clients. This will be a long-term contract (Inside IR35), with the potential to extend. You will be sitting in their office located in Aberdeen, Scotland .
Day‑to‑day
* Applies functional specifications and uses engineering tools to design hardware, electronic circuits, control systems or algorithms for new development and existing products.
* Uses software tools or applications to analyse and conduct tests on electronics circuits or systems and document performance in comparison with design criteria.
* Identifies the testing requirement at a component, integration and system level with the emphasis on complying with test standards.
* Generate test procedures, conduct test and generate reports.
* Performs both engineering calculations and various statistical analysis as required.
* Develop and documents process flows, tooling, jigs, fixtures, test equipment, procedures, etc. using appropriate engineering tools.
* Support technology transfer, product support for manufacturing and operations
* Support the Engineering Change process.
* Promotes and contributes to a cohesive team environment and maintains open lines of communication with all levels of the Organisation.
