Salary: Starting £25,583 rising to £26,403 per annum (pro rata for part‑time)
Location: Wollaton Hall & Deer Park NG8 2AE
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Heritage Assistant to join our team and help care for and enhance some of Nottingham’s most treasured heritage sites. This role involves hands‑on work in the park, grounds, and formal gardens, assisting with day‑to‑day care, maintenance, and development of the park and wider site. You will undertake advanced horticulture, nature conservation, promote biodiversity and practical grounds maintenance, working with supportive colleagues and volunteers.
About You
* A working background, interest and passion for grounds maintenance, nature conservation, horticulture and/or park management
* A working knowledge and use of a wide range of vehicles and hand‑held mechanical equipment, including full driving licence
* Confident communication and interpersonal skills, including working successfully in partnership, building and maintaining good working relationships
* The ability to work independently including evenings, weekends, school and public holidays
* Drive and motivation to deliver against challenging objectives with creativity and confidence
