Principal / Associate Level Structural Engineer Vertical Recruitment is partnering with a leading national consultancy specializing in surveying, civil, and structural engineering services. Located just south of Birmingham City Centre, this firm boasts a team of highly qualified engineers who have established robust relationships across the Midlands. Their portfolio spans a diverse range of projects, irrespective of size, scope, or complexity. Due to their continued success and growth, they are seeking an experienced structural engineer to play a pivotal role in their team, with the potential to lead the structural engineering department. They welcome applications from Senior and Principal Level engineers with the requisite experience and a strong ambition to advance to an Associate role upon becoming chartered. Working closely with Directors and Associates from different sectors, you will contribute to the operational delivery of projects, the management of client relationships and the management of a team. Review designs produced by more junior staff. Taking a lead role in relation to the technical delivery of projects, and technical supervision and guidance to less experienced staff Recognised point of contact for clients on projects Along with the Director contribute to the day-to-day management and control of projects including financial management, compliance checks, environmental and health and safety procedures. Attend and conduct meetings. Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience: Degree Qualified in civil or structural engineering Ideally Chartered MIStructE Proven experience in technical competence, conducting meetings as well as proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
