Are you passionate about protecting vulnerable people, and helping ensure those in mental health crisis receive the right support?
Our Force Mental Health Team is looking for an Enhanced Partnership Worker to join their small but impactive team. Working closely with the NHS, your role will be to effectively manage the police response to vulnerable people. Enhanced Partnership Workers seek to improve the experience for individuals, to support them in promoting positive health, wellbeing, the reduction of any offending behaviour and to make the best use of crisis alternatives. You will be responsible for working in partnership with NHS, social services, council and third sector organisations to devise care plans, manage policing responses and identify solutions to complex issues.
In this role you would be in a position to make a real difference to those that need it the most. The right candidate for this role will be positive, proactive, a problem solver, compassionate, and emotionally aware.
The team work flexibly across NHS sites, and local Police stations. There is the expectation to work out of the Hampshire Control Room in Netley, Southampton three times per week.

About The Role
On a day to day basis you would:
1. Work with partner agencies to develop shared care plans.
2. Attend multi-agency meetings around managing surrounding risk, safeguarding, and identify solutions to complex safeguarding problems
3. Provide live time subject matter expertise and tactical advice to officers at all ranks.
4. Develop a detailed understanding of the MHA, MCA and Right Care Right Person (RCRP) (In house training provided).
However, the role is not limited to the above, and can be shaped to who you are as a person and what you bring to the role. There is the scope to be involved in data and analytics work, delivering training, or even working on force wide projects.
