Summary
Join our OHL Transmission and Distribution team as a Project Manager, responsible for successful project delivery including planning, design, delivery, monitoring, commissioning, and handover/closeout on OHL Projects. Our projects are site-based across the UK, and we support flexible working. This is a full-time hybrid role.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conduct periodic project reviews with site teams and clients.
* Prepare and present reports to facilitate informed decision-making aligned with business strategy.
* Liaise with stakeholders and interrogate designs and inputs.
* Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards, including audits and investigations.
* Forecast costs and resources, and manage subcontractors.
* Develop and lead high-performing teams through training, mentoring, and performance management.
* Manage risks, opportunities, and the project risk register.
* Support tendering and new work applications.
* Ensure quality assurance activities are completed and lead improvement initiatives.
* Monitor project progress, hold weekly meetings, and ensure milestones are met.
* Balance operational and commercial constraints in decision-making.
Candidate requirements:
* At least 5 years of project management experience.
* CSCS and SMSTS or equivalent certifications.
* Proven track record of project delivery.
* Experience with standard contract forms, planning, and programming.
* Valid driving license.
* Experience managing DNO projects.
* IOSH / NEBOSH certifications.
