The Social Work Resources team aims to promote social welfare and provide effective care and support to meet the needs of vulnerable people in South Lanarkshire. In partnership with community planning partners, voluntary and independent provider organisations, we offer services designed to enable, support, improve and protect the health and social care of people using our services.
Responsibilities
* Caring for older people, preferably within a residential setting, with familiarity with all aspects of personal care.
* Construct, implement, review and evaluate a person-centred support plan for service users you are responsible for.
* Contribute to the assessment and review process and administer medicines as prescribed.
* Work as part of a team; demonstrate how you have contributed to completing tasks with others.
* Shift and weekend working is required.
Qualifications and Requirements
* SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or an HNC, or a willingness to work towards these qualifications.
* After taking up appointment, progress and gain registration with the Scottish Social Services Council within 6 months, and maintain registered status thereafter.
Hours: 30 hours per week

Salary: £28,484 - £29,250
