Maintenance Engineer (Day Shift)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our client's manufacturing organization. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about technical problem-solving and eager to contribute to the company's success.
Responsibilities include:
1. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using technical knowledge and appropriate tools.
3. Conduct preventive maintenance, including lubrication, inspection, and calibration, to prevent equipment failure and prolong machinery lifespan.
4. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and execute effective repairs.
5. Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance and minimize operational disruptions.
6. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, logs, and inventory records.
7. Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
8. Perform any other duties as required.
Candidate requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in manufacturing or production.
2. Experience with electrical and mechanical installations.
3. Relevant engineering qualification.
4. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with troubleshooting skills.
5. Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and CMMS.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and under pressure.
7. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and task prioritization.
8. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
9. Willingness to work flexible hours and be available for on-call duties.
