A vacancy may arise for a Wing Commander (Any) Profession to serve as Officer Commanding Central Reserve Support Wing (OC CRSW) at RAF Wittering on Part Time Volunteer Reserve (PTVR) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 01 April 2026 (dependant on candidate’s circumstances). Central Reserves Support Wing: The OC CRSW ensures the enabling capabilities required to permit the CRSW to undertake exemplary Phase 1 training, focused attract and recruitment activity and associated support all at the right time, right place and to target. The Post: Reporting through Gp Capt RSWs to ACOS Res 2 Gp, t he post is based at RAF Wittering with remote working options available (subject to agreement at interview). Please note, to enable the support of training, engagement and recruiting activity, the role requires occasional travel with associated overnight stays and weekend working. CRSW Mission : To recruit, train and deliver motivated and inspired RAF Reservists to Royal Auxiliary Air Force (RAuxAF) Squadrons within the central Wing catchment, ready to embark on Phase 2 training and ultimately deliver operational output for the RAF.
