Junior Infrastructure / Desktop Support Engineer Purpose of Role An opportunity has arisen for Junior Infrastructure / Desktop Support Engineer. The successful candidate will be required to work from the office 5 days a week and perform out-of-hours, on-call duties when required. Supporting all areas of the business with their Information Technology and Communication Technology needs. Supporting the company’s infrastructure, PC’s, Servers, Switches Firewalls and associated hardware. Key Responsibilities: 1st line support for in-house applications and ad-hoc operational issues (training will be provided). PC hardware and software builds. Systems Administration (Active Directory, MS Exchange, Azure, Microsoft 365, Juniper and Linux systems etc.). Telephone administration and setup (Mobile and VoIP). The Successful Candidate Will: Ideally be a graduate of a relevant IT Degree. Be familiar with Microsoft Windows 11, Server 2019 and Linux operating Systems, Azure and Active Directory. Be capable of working with people at all levels and be able to operate independently as well as being a strong team player. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Have the ability to work under pressure and multi-task. Have excellent organisation and time management skills. The role presents a great opportunity for a junior professional with drive, determination, a proactive approach and excellent problem-solving skills.
