A leading global investment bank is seeking an experienced FX Trader (Vice President level) to join its London based trading team. This newly created position has been established to strengthen the bank’s coverage of Emerging Markets and Local Markets FX, including both Non-Deliverable Forwards (NDFs) and deliverable emerging market currencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for pricing, executing, and managing EM FX positions across a diverse portfolio of currencies, working closely with sales, e-trading, and global trading teams across multiple regions. This is a hands-on role offering strong visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the bank’s global FX franchise. Key Responsibilities: Execute and manage positions across a range of EM and Local Market currencies (Asia and LatAm focus). Price and manage NDFs, deliverable EM FX, and related cross-currency products. Provide two-way pricing and market insight to internal sales and external clients. Manage risk and P&L in line with internal limits and compliance frameworks. Collaborate with regional trading desks and e-trading teams to enhance liquidity and automation. Monitor macroeconomic, political, and regulatory developments affecting EM FX markets. Contribute to infrastructure and product improvements to strengthen competitiveness. Requirements: Experience in Emerging Markets FX, Local Markets FX, or NDF trading. Strong product knowledge across Asia and/or LatAm currencies (e.g. INR, KRW, TWD, IDR, PHP, CNH, BRL, CLP, COP). Proven ability to manage risk positions and generate consistent P&L. Excellent understanding of client flow, hedging strategies, and EM liquidity dynamics. Proficiency with Bloomberg, Murex, and other relevant trading platforms. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with sales and risk teams.
