Role Overview


Content Creators are the engine of our brand storytelling. You’ll concept, film and edit TikTok videos that don’t just look good - they sell. Working across a portfolio of brands, you’ll translate each brand’s identity into platform-native content that drives engagement and TikTok Shop conversions.


This is a role for someone who is genuinely TikTok-native — not just familiar with the platform but deeply embedded in it. You understand what makes a video stop the scroll, why some content converts and others don’t, and you’re always thinking about what’s coming next.


The role is remote, and we’re looking for someone based in the UK or mainland Europe.


Responsibilities


1. Content Creation & Production

* Research trending content, sounds, formats and creator approaches to keep output platform-fresh
* Develop bespoke video concepts for each brand and pitch ideas to brand representatives
* Film, produce and edit approved content to a high standard, ready for TikTok Shop
* Plan and manage a rolling content calendar, building in campaign moments, product launches and seasonal peaks
* Ensure all content feels organic and platform-native while staying true to each brand’s identity and guidelines

2. Performance & Insight

* Analyse video engagement, conversion data and audience insights to inform future content decisions
* A/B test different hooks, formats and calls-to-action to continuously improve performance
* Share learnings with the wider team and use data to make the case for new creative directions
* Stay ahead of TikTok algorithm changes and platform updates that affect content reach and shop conversion

3. Collaboration

* Work closely with Account Strategists to ensure content is aligned with each brand’s sales objectives and TikTok Shop strategy
* Take briefs, incorporate feedback and iterate quickly without losing creative quality
* Contribute ideas to team brainstorms and help shape FordeBaker’s content approach as the TikTok Shop division grows

* A natural creator. You make content instinctively — whether for brands or yourself. You have a feel for what works on TikTok and can articulate why, not just demonstrate it.
* Commercially minded. You understand that great content has a job to do. You think about conversion, not just views, and you measure your work accordingly.
* Versatile and adaptable. You can switch between brand voices without losing the platform-native quality that makes TikTok content perform. A beauty brand and a nutrition brand should feel distinct in your hands.
* Fast and iterative. TikTok moves quickly. You’re comfortable working at pace, responding to trends while they’re still relevant, and treating every video as a learning opportunity.
* Collaborative. You work well with clients, account strategists and other creatives. You can take a brief and make it better, and you’re open to feedback without being precious about your work.
* TikTok-native. You don’t just work on TikTok, you live on it. You understand the platform’s culture, trends and mechanics at a level that goes beyond professional familiarity. You see TikTok Shop as a career to build, not a channel to manage.


Essential Qualifications


* A portfolio of TikTok content (brand or personal) that demonstrates range and platform fluency
* Hands-on experience filming and editing short-form video
* Proficiency in mobile video editing tools (CapCut or equivalent)
* Strong understanding of TikTok’s content mechanics — hooks, formats, sounds and trends
* Bonus Qualifications
* Experience creating content for TikTok Shop specifically (product showcases, hauls, affiliate content)
* Experience working across multiple brands or product categories
* Proficiency in additional editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, etc.)
* An existing TikTok presence with demonstrated organic reach
