The Role
This role will be to design, deliver and evaluate training programmes. To co-ordinate and run IT training programmes for staff in NHS Lanarkshire (NHSL), including user guides and procedures, which support the implementation of new computer systems within Lanarkshire. As part of the eHealth Programme Implementation & Support Training team the post holder will liaise directly with users of Lanarkshire Applications to assess their training requirements and be responsible for maintaining and producing summary information about training delivered. Within the role you will have to provide support to Managers and Departments during and after the implementation process.

What we’ll need you to bring
* The post holder should ideally be educated to HNC level, preferably in a computing related subject and preferably possessing a formal training qualification, for example IITT accreditation.
* The postholder should have proven ability to effectively design and deliver training and development packages and work to tight deadlines.
* The postholder should have at least 3 years in-depth experience in a healthcare environment, for example experience in an operational department, and be able to demonstrate an understanding of interdepartmental relationships.
* The postholder should have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products, e.g. Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint.
It would be great if you also have

* Ability to deliver face to face training to groups of staff or individuals
* Car driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA drivers licence
Contract and Working Pattern
Fixed Term or Secondment until 31/03/2027
Part Time 30 hours
Location: Digital within Kirklands – NHSL Headquarters
Monday to Friday, 9am‑5pm
