Pay & Hours:
We offer our Shop Supervisors a rate of £12.71 for a 39-hour week, working over 5 days, Monday to Sunday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours to accommodate your needs.
Job Role:
As a Supervisor, you will work alongside our team preparing fresh ingredients and producing sandwiches, baguettes, and other food products in line with company standards. You will provide excellent customer service and sell high-quality fresh food. The successful candidate will be trained to Wenzel’s standards and have opportunities for progression.
You will assist the Shop Manager in daily store operations, supervise the team, drive sales, control costs, and help grow the business while developing a loyal customer base.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Greet customers and create an inviting experience.
* Receive and check daily deliveries.
* Assist with stock management and produce handling.
* Maintain shop displays.
* Have excellent product knowledge.
* Prepare food according to specifications.
* Ensure food and produce quality control.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
* Work efficiently within a team.
* Handle cash and operate tills.
* Open or close the shop as required.
* Run shifts at various times during the week.
* Drive sales and minimize wastage.
Previous supervisory experience in retail or customer service is required. Experience in food production is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
