Job Description HR Advisor Part time – competitive salary – Milton Keynes / Hybrid BSH Home Appliances is part of the Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group, representing the Bosch, Neff, Siemens and Gaggenau brands within the UK and Ireland. Our Head Office is in Milton Keynes, we have offices and warehousing in Kettering, and also have employees in the field all over the UK and Ireland. We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor with a proven track record to join the team. The role is part time (three days per week, Tu, W, Th 18 hours per week) and based in our offices in Milton Keynes (with some opportunity to work in a hybrid way). Whilst the majority of your time will be based in Milton Keynes, you need to be willing and able to visit our other locations, which would occasionally be our office in Corby, and also possibly our offices in London. We are looking for an HR Advisor who will be able to demonstrate previous achievements within HR. You will have gained your experience in a generalist role and have a track record of managing a range of HR issues from end to end. You should be a real team player with a diplomatic, calm, positive attitude, excellent written and oral communication skills, commercially aware and able to build strong relationships within both the HR team and the line managers you support. Y ou will be responsible for providing generalist HR support to line managers, supporting them with first line advice and guidance in line with company policy covering performance management, reward and benefits, disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence and terms & conditions, helping to develop their knowledge and capability on all HR and ER issues. You will also look to identify ways to improve performance, engagement, absence and employee turnover. In addition, you must be happy supporting our HR Admin team when things get particularly busy, mucking in and helping out with payroll cut off as required as well as looking for ways to improve our processes and standard letters more generally. You will back up your advice with up to date employment legislation knowledge, will have excellent attention to detail and be keen to get involved with projects to challenge and improve our existing HR processes and policies to constantly strive for best practice. You must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel and be a natural communicator, both in written and spoken English.
