Our client is seeking a Warehouse Manager to spearhead daily operations, champion safety standards, and deliver exceptional service in a bustling warehouse setting.
Position: Full-Time Warehouse Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
Location: Liverpool
What You'll Do:
As our Warehouse Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Lead & Inspire: Coach, develop, and motivate the warehouse team to achieve their best.
Manage Operations: Oversee the daily activities related to the receipt, storage, and despatch of materials.
Ensure Accuracy: Maintain inventory accuracy to support production schedules seamlessly.
Safety First: Promote a culture of safety and lead incident investigations to uphold workplace standards.
Asset Care: Oversee asset maintenance and coordinate with the Engineering team for ongoing care.
3PL Management: Build and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, monitoring service performance.
Customer Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Service to swiftly resolve issues and enhance service levels.
Drive Efficiency: analyse KPIs, introduce innovative improvements, and reduce costs wherever possible.
What You Bring:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
Warehouse Management Experience: Proven experience in managing or supervising a warehouse team.
Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead, mentor, and develop people.
Safety & Compliance Commitment: A dedication to maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards.
IT Proficiency: Solid IT skills; experience with SAP is beneficial.
Desirable Qualifications:
Background in food manufacturing or continuous processing environments.
Understanding of Total Productive Maintenance and World-Class Manufacturing methodologies.
Familiarity with SAP
