<div><h3>ABOUT THE ROLE</h3><p>Your focus as Care Home Deputy Manager will be to support the General Manager to operate a compliant and effective person‑centred care home which provides a safe, caring and stimulating environment for residents and their visitors while meeting stringent professional and statutory standards and commercial performance targets.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team</li><li>Ensure medication policies and procedures are adhered to and support the review of medication and administration</li><li>Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting care and care plans</li><li>Complete monthly audits, quality indicator reports and any other required reports</li><li>Attend weekly clinical meetings and monitor clinical risk areas in the home</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><ul><li>Hold a nursing qualification and maintain an active NMC pin</li><li>Have at least two years experience in a similar care environment in a management position</li><li>Exhibit excellent leadership and management skills</li><li>Communicate effectively verbally and in writing and be competent in the use of IT systems</li><li>Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice</li><li>Live the values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable in all that you do</li></ul><h3>Additional Requirements</h3><ul><li>DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare)</li><li>Proof of eligibility to work in the UK</li></ul><h3>About Avery</h3><p>At Avery, we are one of the UKs largest providers of luxury elderly care homes, creating a place where people love to work.
