Job Title: Metering Operations Support
Location: Durrington, West Sussex (Hybrid)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37, Monday to Friday
Salary: up to £32,000, depending on skills and experience

This brand-new role is your chance to be at the heart of this transformation. Reporting to the Metering Operations Team Lead, you’ll work closely with our Customer Service teams and our Alternative Metering Service (AMS) Partner to ensure every meter installation meets the highest standards.
What you will be responsible for
1. Auditing metering jobs for accuracy and compliance.
2. Resolving operational exceptions and anomalies.
3. Driving process reviews and continuous improvement.
4. Creating and delivering training to upskill internal and external teams.
5. Supporting escalations and complex issue resolution.
6. Monitoring third-party performance and fostering collaboration.
7. Using data to uncover trends and inform decisions.
8. Championing service quality and operational excellence.
What you’ll bring to the role
9. A strong background in customer service operations (utilities/smart metering experience a plus!).
10. Sharp attention to detail and a knack for solving problems.
11. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
12. Confidence working with data and making informed decisions.
13. Experience supporting third-party partners and driving performance.
14. A proactive mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
