Responsibilities
As a Radiology Department Assistant, you will support radiographers, sonographers, and radiologists in delivering safe, efficient, and patient‑focused imaging services. Your duties include preparing patients for scans, assisting during procedures, ensuring smooth and safe operations of the department, and helping create an efficient, caring environment.
Qualifications
* GCSEs (or equivalent Level 2) in English and Maths
* Caring, reliable, and team‑focused
* NVQ Level 2 in Care or healthcare experience desirable
* Previous Radiology or Health Care Support Worker experience (desirable)
* NVQ II or above in health and social care or equivalent (desirable)
Requirements
You must have a valid DBS check (or will be subject to one) and provide references and ID for your interview.
