How will we support you?
From the start, you'll be supported in your development through our 12-month Certificate in Merchanting Programme, an apprenticeship designed to equip you with the skills for success. During your apprenticeship, you'll explore:
* Our safety culture within branches
* The products we sell and services we provide
* What makes us different and keeps us as the number one choice for our customers
Our apprenticeships focus on your growth, including study time within your working week to achieve your qualification without affecting your work-life balance. You'll receive support through coaching, mentoring, and technical training to advance your career. Opportunities for further development are available up to the Boardroom.
What will you be doing?
Expect a varied experience in branch life at Travis Perkins. Your responsibilities will include:
* Talking to customers at our trade counter, building relationships that encourage repeat business
* Supporting customers with their purchases, providing product information, preparing quotes, fulfilling orders, or taking sales over the phone
* Working with a friendly team to deliver the 5-star service our customers expect
