POSITION SUMMARY
This role will be responsible for generating property content for distribution to multiple channels, including social media and the website. The Sales and Marketing Supervisor will also provide support to the PR Director by offering on-property support for all media visits, in addition to collaborating on marketing strategies with the Director of Sales & Marketing and creating advertising and marketing collateral materials for the hotel.
Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure that uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
The ideal candidates will have: Four (4) years of experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area, and from a Luxury Brand preferred. 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major. Create and execute innovative publicity programs that will increase revenue and awareness, creating a positive perception of the hotel, its restaurants, Spa, resort amenities, hosts. Ensure that all hotel promotions are in keeping with The St. Regis brand image and reflect the highest level of professionalism in content and presentation.
