Candidates must come from an engineering or manufacturing industry background, ideally with experience of multiple part commodities, as you will need the ability to understand technical drawing, specifications, and some manufacturing processes. Reporting into the Procurement Manager, the successful Buyer will be involved in performing all key tasks throughout the procurement process including developing commodity strategies, supplier identification, selection, and approval, managing daily requisitions, expediting open order, resolving quality and payment issues, maintaining MRP with accurate data.
