Are you the right person for the job?
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a commercial or construction environment
* Strong knowledge of procurement, contract administration, tender management, and frameworks
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within project and operational teams
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency in commercial reporting and financial monitoring
What will your role look like?
* Work within the commercial team to deliver program objectives and support colleagues to achieve targets
* Develop and maintain successful relationships with clients and key supply chain partners
* Contribute to procurement and contract strategies, including sourcing, tender compilation, and issuing
* Administer contract amendments, variations, and final accounts to achieve optimal outcomes
* Provide commercial advice and guidance across the business
* Monitor budgets, cash flow, and operating costs to ensure financial targets are met
* Visit sites, arrange meetings, and brief project teams to ensure sufficient commercial support
* Promote continuous improvement, best practices, and integration across the client base
* Attend internal and external commercial review meetings, presenting reports to directors
* Resolve contractual and commercial issues, supporting operational teams to achieve profit improvement plans
