The opportunity
Working across multiple applications, handling second-line support for issues raised by the Service Desk to fix problems, make system updates, and support on projects and software releases, while following procedures and deadlines. This is a hybrid role based in Swindon 3 days per week, plus being on-call 1 out of 8 weeks.
1. Salary - £37,500 + on-call allowance
2. Bonus scheme - on target bonus - Up to 7.5%
3. Pension scheme - contribute up to 5% of your salary and Openwork will match you and put in an extra 5%

Key responsibilities:
10. Fix issues passed on from the Service Desk
11. Work with other IT teams to resolve problems
12. Keep track of assigned tickets
13. Make updates in the system using set processes
14. Contribute to team documentation and improvements
What will you need to succeed?
15. Experience in a similar application/IT support role
16. Passion for technology with motivation to fix problems
17. Skills in SQL is a bonus, however not essential
18. Understanding of ITIL is preferred
19. A curious eye to think outside the box
20. A can-do attitude with ability to use intuition
