We are seeking amitted and adaptable Qualified Teacher (QTS) to provide day-to-day cover across a range of subjects at our thriving secondary school in the WF1 area of Wakefield. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled educator looking for flexible work while making a meaningful contribution to students’ learning.
About the Role: As a Temporary Qualified Teacher, you will:
1. Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
2. Maintain high standards of teaching and learning in the absence of the regular class teacher
3. Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
4. Support students’ progress and wellbeing
5. Work collaboratively with departmental and support staff
About You: We are looking for a teacher who is:
6. Fully qualified (QTS required)
7. Confident delivering lessons across a range of subjects (specialism wee but not essential)
8. Flexible, reliable, and able to work at short notice
9. Skilled at behaviour management and building rapport with students
10. Professional, organised, andmitted to safeguarding
