Position Details
Location: The Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden and The Shelburne Hospital in High Wycombe
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, permanent
Salary: Up to £43,411 per year (depending on experience, training, and qualifications)
About the Role
Circle Health Group, Britain's leading independent healthcare provider, is seeking a Senior Radiographer to join their Imaging departments at two hospitals. This full-time, dual-site role involves flexible shifts, including participation in an on-call rota.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate the Imaging Department efficiently and safely, providing high-quality services to patients and visitors.
* Perform general and specialized radiographic procedures within your competence, assessing clinical requirements and ensuring high technical standards.
* Conduct imaging examinations following operational procedures, minimizing radiation dose while maintaining image quality.
* Observe radiation safety protocols and departmental policies, including IRMER regulations.
* Participate in supervision, training, and peer reviews within your area of expertise.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in the acute healthcare sector.
* Customer care experience, including handling challenging situations.
* Ability to undertake IV contrast injections.
* Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.
* HCPC registration.
* General radiographic training and background.
* Familiarity with RIS/PACS systems.
* Knowledge of healthcare systems, Radiation Regulations, and the HCPC Code of Conduct.
* Successful completion of an approved Cannulation course and Circle Health Group PGD training.
* Desirable: CT experience.
