Manufacturing Lead/Coordinator
Location: 61 Barnes Industrial Park North, Wallingford, CT 06492
Facility: CT180 Manufacturing Facility
Shift(s):
- Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Monday to Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Overview:
As a Full-time Manufacturing Lead/Coordinator, you will oversee production flow within your team's scope, ensuring safety, quality, prompt delivery, productivity, and growth. You will be responsible for all aspects of your team's performance, which will be measured by safety, quality, delivery (Overall, Specials, FPY), cost, 5S, productivity (units/$/OEE), lead time reduction, and continuous improvement projects with documented savings.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and direct employees, utilizing continuous improvement practices to meet department goals.
2. Build teamwork through effective communication and motivation.
3. Train employees to ensure they have the skills, knowledge, and ability to perform their responsibilities.
4. Provide leadership and guidance for growth and development.
5. Uphold all company policies, work rules, and government regulations.
Required Qualifications:
1. Prior leadership experience.
2. Machining experience.
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
4. Basic math skills, including decimals and fractions.
5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, micrometers, and calipers.
6. Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing skills.
7. Highly motivated, self-directed, with the ability to motivate others.
8. Desire to improve manufacturing processes continuously.
9. Excellent safety record.

11. Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25-50 lbs, up to 100 lbs.
12. Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam).
