UCL Centre for Engineering Education (CEE)
The UCL Centre for Engineering Education (CEE) is a joint centre between the UCL Faculty of Engineering Sciences and the UCL Institute of Education. It aims to provide research and curriculum development to deliver improved engineering education worldwide. It is actively engaged in the engineering education research community and in using that evidence-based research to deliver innovative and high-quality student experiences at UCL and for external partners through collaborative consultancy projects.

Our Integrated Engineering Programme is recognised within and outside of UCL for innovation and thought leadership in engineering education. The award-winning Integrated Engineering Programme (IEP) at UCL is a radical model for reimagining undergraduate engineering education.
About the role
Please note: This role is fixed term for 3 years.
The post holder will work with staff across six departments within UCL Engineering to develop and teach cross-faculty elements of the year 1 and year 2 IEP Mathematics curriculum.
The appointed person will support the maths curricula leadership and teaching at faculty level for staff and students in departments. Additionally, they will join the faculty IEP Team in their development of teaching resources to support the advancement of the IEP Mathematics curriculum.
About you
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
* Educated to degree level in an engineering science discipline or mathematics or hold equivalent qualifications and / or experience.
* Experience of using innovative teaching methods, including incorporating new technologies into the design and delivery of curricula.
* Experience of teaching undergraduates (working in higher education)
* Ability to present complex information effectively to a range of audiences
* High level knowledge of engineering software (e.g. MATLAB)
