£31,000–£32,000 salary

About Us
We are a well established, independent stand alone children's residential home in Hartlepool, dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for children and young people. Our mission is to empower them to achieve their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.
The Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day care and development of the young people in our home. You’ll provide emotional support, encourage independence, and assist with daily routines, helping to create a warm, family-like atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
* Building positive, trusting relationships with young people.
* Supporting individual care plans to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of the children.
* Assisting with household tasks and activities to ensure a safe, clean, and engaging environment.
* Providing encouragement and opportunities for personal development.
* Participating in shifts, including sleep-ins, on a rota basis.
What We Offer:
* Competitive salary: £31,000–£32,000 per annum (inclusive of sleep-in shifts).
* Full-time, permanent position with a supportive and collaborative team.
* Comprehensive training and development opportunities, we will pay for you to work towards your level 5

What We’re Looking For:
* A caring, compassionate, and proactive individual.
* Experience working with children or young people in a similar role is desirable.
* A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it).
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
* A full UK driving license is preferred but not essential.
