What you will be doing:
1. Develop and maintain the annual audit plan and audit universe
2. Manage / deliver audits (and staff) and reporting to timetable and quality
3. Quality review of audit work assessing compliance with methodology
4. Assess risk exposure and identify appropriate action
5. Record and monitor implementation of actions to target
6. Ad-hoc reviews and incident investigation
7. Liaise with senior business stakeholders at Senior Manager / Exec level
8. Produce quarterly status reports for client and internal governance
9. Preparation of annual report
10. Support the Internal Audit Director in attendance at client and internal governance meeting.
11. Liaison with client auditor
12. Coordination of resources and resource planning
13. People management
What you’ll bring:
14. Experience in internal/external audit — Ideally in a Financial Services or regulated services environment.
15. Previous responsibility for creation and delivery of an audit plan.
16. Knowledge of ISAE 3402, 3LOD, IIA
17. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and credibly to senior leadership and clients.Skilled in building strong relationships, while remaining independent, objective, and credible.
18. Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving and agile working environment.
It would be great if you had:
19. Experience of auditing major change programmes
20. Working towards or holding relevant professional qualifications ( CIIA, ISO Auditor, ICA Cert in Compliance/Risk).
