The opportunity
We’re looking for a PR & Influencer Account Director to join our team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll lead bold, culture-shaping campaigns where PR, influencers, and earned-first strategy collide. As the senior point of contact for clients, you’ll steer major accounts, spark creative ideas, and deliver impactful results across PR and ambassador programs.We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment,with a keen eye for what’s trending, a natural flair for communication, and an intuitive approach to problem-solving.
A snapshot of what you'll do
* Lead strategic earned and influencer campaign plans for projects and annual programs.
* Senior partner to our clients, providing reliable & timely updates and counsel on media outreach and Influencer management.
* Advise clients regarding the best use of PR, influencer, and social for program amplification, on an ongoing basis.
* Oversee the junior team to implement specific PR and Influencer strategies in response to client objectives, issues, or briefs
* Participate in the creative ideation process and develop creative PR/Influencer tactics and work with production teams to deliver campaign implementation assets
* Manage client finances and scopes for both projects and retained work, closely with the PR & Comms Account Director
* Lead on forward-thinking influencer strategy and engagement
* Maintain knowledge of the latest thinking and learnings in integrated marcomms, applying these as appropriate to clients
* Plus much more!
* 5+ years of experience in the consumer PR and influencer space with thorough knowledge of communication principles and techniques, ideally from an integrated comms agency
* Excellent working knowledge of media across all mediums (including digital and social) and an active and expanding network of media contacts
* Solid understanding of local trends and news that may affect the PR industry, programs or clients
* Strong public speaking/presentation skills, experience in new business pitching is a big plus
* Excellent time management skills, financial literacy and attention to detail.
