We are looking for people who bring a range of skills to the organisation to help us meet our mission.

HARP is Southend-on-Sea's leading homelessness charity, and every year we work with around 1,000 local people to help them overcome or avoid homelessness.

It is an exciting time to be joining HARP. The organisation has undergone significant change and growth over the past twelve months, and we have ambitious plans for the future which will continue to transform lives.

About The Role

Applicants for this position must be available for interview on 29th May 2025.

Are you a motivated and passionate individual looking to make a real difference in your local community? If so, we would love you to join our brand-new team and project at Crowstone Manor as a Specialist Project Worker.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and innovative worker to join a new team for our exciting new project. The role will involve working within a team of five dedicated to delivering an intensive, high-quality, individualised support service for long-term rough sleepers experiencing multiple disadvantages and complex needs. The project will aim to offer a variety of support and work in partnership with other local organisations and providers.

Main Responsibilities Include

* Create a community of support and empowerment, focusing on building individualised and highly personalised skills and resources to strengthen self-esteem and confidence.
* Ensure incidents and safeguarding issues are reported within timescales, with follow-up plans implemented.
* Participate in delivering tailored, co-produced activities and on-site specialist services, working with a gender-informed approach.
* Ensure residents' needs and aspirations are central to support planning and that services are delivered within a psychologically informed environment.
* Provide intensive housing management for residents in supported accommodation.
* Ensure all caseloads have robust safety and risk management plans, regularly reviewed.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on the HARP In-Form database, in line with Data Protection requirements.
* Advise, support, and assist residents with welfare, housing, benefit, and legal rights.
* Provide advocacy to ensure residents receive comprehensive support both internally and externally.
* Work within the Team Around Me Model for multi-agency meetings, taking a lead when required.
