We’re looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong Fortinet/FortiGate expertise to join our team based in Bromley South. This is a fully on-site role requiring attendance in the office five days a week.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
* Design, configure, and support Fortinet/FortiGate firewall solutions
* Day-to-day management of FortiGate devices using FortiGate CLI
* Troubleshoot network and security issues across LAN/WAN environments
* Implement and maintain firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, and routing
* Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and security
* Work closely with internal teams to support business-critical systems
* Produce and maintain clear technical documentation
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Network Engineer in a production environment
* Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls
* Confident working with FortiGate CLI
* Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching)
* Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec/SSL)
* Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently
Preferred Skills
* Fortinet certifications
* Experience in a security-focused or enterprise environment
* Exposure to monitoring and logging tools
Pay range and compensation package
Location Requirement: This role is office-based in Bromley South, requiring 5 days per week on-site. Remote or hybrid working is not available for this position.
