Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Scientist to join our Nuclear Medicine Physics team at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. The role supports a gamma camera site and a second site, manages non‑imaging diagnostic services, provides support for molecular radiotherapy (I‑131 and Ra‑223) and radiopharmacy services, and contributes to a multi‑disciplinary team across Oncology and Radiology.
Responsibilities
* Deliver daily nuclear medicine physics services, including support to gamma camera operations and sentinel lymph node procedures.
* Commission and manage a new state‑of‑the‑art radiopharmacy.
* Provide scientific support for molecular radiotherapy services and non‑imaging diagnostic services.
* Support the Nuclear Medicine section to manage the Trust’s gamma camera and the nuclear imaging department at Walsall Manor Hospital.
Qualifications
* Registered Medical Physics Engineer (MPE) in nuclear medicine physics.
* Strong scientific skills to ensure safe delivery of nuclear medicine procedures.
* RWA or RPA certification (or ability to achieve certification).
