We are looking for an exceptional Apprentice with a flare and passion for art to join our thriving art department.
What you’ll do at work
As an Apprentice Art Teaching Assistant, you’ll support our experienced teaching staff in delivering engaging and inclusive art lessons.]You will gain hands-on classroom experience while working toward a nationally recognised qualification in education.This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in art education or creative support roles in schools.Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and delivery of creative art lessons across various year group
* Support individual and small groups of students to enhance learning outcomes
* Help manage classroom materials, displays, and equipment
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
* Engage in training and complete coursework as part of your apprenticeship programme
What We’re Looking For:
* A genuine interest in art and creativity
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (grade 4/C or above preferred)
* Previous art experience or a portfolio (desirable, not essential)
