Comms and Engagement Officer needed in Cambridge, £18.26ph PAYE - Reference: 5272660
A fundamental part of the client's Communications and Engagement Team, working closely with Communications Officers to coordinate communication plans for teams and projects, and create content for multiple channels including social media, websites, e-newsletters, residents’ magazines, out-of-home artwork, and more. The role also involves providing a contact point for enquiries (internal and external), including those received via social media and from the media, and supporting the team by taking ownership of administrative tasks.
Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the client's Communications and Engagement activities, including both external and internal communications. Collaborate with colleagues in the Communications and Engagement Team and across the council to meet the evolving needs of the council, adding value to support the council's corporate plan. Help build a positive reputation for the client locally and nationally in line with the council's vision.
This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
