Heathrow H7 Project
The H7 framework encompasses airfield works (taxiways, runways, stands), civils (roads, demolition works, underground and above ground structures), and MEP packages (services tunnels, lifts, life safety systems, fuel/fire mains).
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct internal and external quality audits.
* Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and employer requirements; prepare high-standard reports; record non-conformities and snags.
* Oversee site inspections and tests, ensuring they follow inspection and test plans, with all documentation produced timely.
* Supervise subcontracted laboratories to ensure standards are met, raise non-conformances to the quality advisor/manager.
* Ensure full and correct implementation of the project’s quality management plan.
* Raise, track, and close project NCRs; ensure corrective actions are implemented.
* Deliver necessary quality documentation for each work type.
* Ensure Material Approval Procedures are followed by the site team.
* Promote a culture of right-first-time and continuous improvement across the site team.
* Assist the Quality Manager and coordinate the commissioning process for M&E works.
* Support the Handover Manager in handover processes; review and track inspection/testing documentation and handover documents for progressive handover.
* Digitize quality processes within the Common Data Environments.
* Conduct quality inductions, workshops, lessons learned sessions, briefings, and other forums to ensure QA/QC compliance.
* Maintain Quality and Calibration Registers.
* Assist the Quality Manager as needed.
Key Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
* Experience in building relationships with external parties.
* Strong knowledge and experience with construction technology.
* Excellent construction problem-solving skills.
* Detailed knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to interact across levels within Ferrovial.
* Computer literacy.
* CSCS card.
* ISO 9001 certification.
* Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, civil, mechanical, and electrical technical specifications and testing standards, calibration, construction materials, and proficiency with Office software and construction laboratories.
