To support in the overall delivery of the Group’s business objectives, whilst implementing departmental procedures in line with Company standards.
Characterization: This role requires interaction with internal colleagues of various levels, external parties and clients within the offshore industry.
Result Areas
* Servicing. Maintenance & Testing
* General plant & equipment repairs and servicing, in accordance with procedures and manufacturers guidelines.
* Responsible for the management and maintenance of electrical stores, accuracy of stock levels and completion of routine audits on a quarterly basis.
* Assist with PUWER & LOLER compliance and ensuring that all is in accordance to applicable legislation.
* Responsible for the function testing of all 3rd Party Electrical Plant & Equipment prior to mobilisation.
* Assist with ensuring that accurate inspection records are maintained.
* Assist with the compilation of check sheets, to facilitate stores manifesting.
Result: Provides technical support to the business, ensuring that electrical equipment is fit for purpose and both customer and company deliverables are met.
People and Recording
* People: Develop others skills and experience. Results: To ensure that personnel meet both the company and clients competency requirements and are in line with corporate aims.
* Recording: Responsible for ensuring that accurate maintenance records are maintained.
* Responsible for ensuring that all plant & equipment is function tested and fully operational prior to dispatch.
* Responsible for the compilation of certification packs including operators instructions, and ensuring that all are valid.
* Results: To ensure comprehensive records are maintained which meet with company objectives.
Skills
Education
Essential: GCSE, Higher education or experience commensurate with the role and have demonstrated an appropriate level of technical competence.
Desirable: CompEx, PUWER & LOLER, COSHH & Manual Handling, Task Risk Assessment, Forklift, Environmental Awareness, Product Specific Training, ATEX Training.
Experience
Essential: Experience in a similar role.
Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role in the Oil and Gas Industry. Knowledge of range of services Altrad does and can provide to the client.
