Mobile Electrical Engineer Contract: Key Account Network Location: Newcastle - with regional travel Hours of work: 41.25 Contract Type: Permanent We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide electrical and building services engineering maintenance across a variety of client properties within a designated region. The role involves fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation, alongside supporting general building maintenance tasks within your skill set. Job Description We are looking for a proactive and professional individual who can deliver high-quality services, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and maintain strong client relationships while supporting both reactive and planned maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities Deliver electrical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set timeframes. Perform fault finding, repair, maintenance and installation of electrical systems. Carry out building services maintenance including fabric, HVAC and mechanical tasks. Participate in the callout rota and provide timely response to client requirements. Undertake contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship and issuing Permits to Work. Ensure all electrical equipment operates to specified performance criteria and company standards. Maintain accurate records and complete all administration requirements in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations, including risk assessments and COSHH. Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Qualifications City & Guilds 2365, 2357 Level 3 and NVQ 2356 AM2. OR City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation and NVQ 2356 and AM2. OR City & Guilds 236/2360 in Electrical Installations Part 1 & 2 City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2018), preferably with A2 Amendment. Full UK Driving Licence. Experience Experience in electrical building services maintenance, including fault finding, maintenance, installation and inspection/testing. Proven experience in reactive and PPM building services maintenance. Experience working within FM or building services in commercial properties. Strong understanding of working under strict Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements.
