Production Line Supervisor
Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
£27,600 – £30,600 plus overtime
4 on 4 off days only (6.30am – 4.00pm)
We are currently recruiting for a Production Line Supervisorrecruiting the right people is an integral part of our client’s growth plans, they are a profitable and expanding business that can offer you job security, training and ongoing development. They have ambitious plans to continue to grow the business and understand that investing in new personnel is key to their success.
The role is based on the outskirts of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire due to location and working hours own transport is essential.
Responsibilities for the Production Line Supervisor
1. Coordinate the company product to ensure the production line has the correct workflow to meet the orders
2. Plan and prioritise workload to ensure maximum performance and minimum downtime
3. Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
4. Stock management
5. Pro-Actively support continues improvement and lean manufacturing principles
6. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping (5S)
Core skills for the Production Line Supervisor
7. Previous experience in operating plant machinery within food production
8. Good standard of English and Maths
9. Adaptable and open to experience potential new workplace situations
10. Must have excellent attention to detail
11. Good IT skills, must be competent in the use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel
12. The ability to problem-solve and lead the team
13. Good communication abilities at all levels
14. The ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
15. Good multi-tasking skills
16. Ensuring right first-time culture
17. Confident, professional and tenacious
