Fashion Merchandiser / Account Manager (Knitwear)

The company supplies independent boutiques and high‑street retailers across the UK and is looking for an experienced Merchandiser / Sales Account Manager to drive business growth and ensure seamless delivery of beautifully made knitwear collections.
What the role looks like
* Build and grow accounts from independent boutiques to mid‑size retailers.
* Present seasonal ranges of 100+ styles with flair at buyer meetings, trade shows, and client presentations.
* Own the full sales cycle from concept to delivery, coordinating with overseas suppliers and internal teams.
* Maintain critical paths and sales orders to ensure on‑time delivery.
* Negotiate deals and meet deadlines, keeping clients satisfied.
* Travel to meet potential clients and buyers across the UK in a hybrid setting.
What we’re looking for
* 3+ years of experience in a similar merchandising or account management role.
* Strong background in knitwear or fashion supply.
* Excellent client‑facing skills – confident presenting to buyers.
* A commercial mindset and proactive approach.
* Ability to manage multiple accounts and timelines.
* Strong communication and organisation skills.
* Based within commuting distance to Leicester (hybrid role).
