Contract:Casual zero hour contract

Location: The City Ground, Nottingham, NG2 5FJ

Working Arrangements: On site

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

* Assist the Club in the effective, safe customer friendly management of matchdays and event days at the City Ground
* Work in any area of the Stadium as directed by the Grounds Safety Officer, Deputy Safety Officer or Stand Supervisor
* Attend Safeguarding, Accessibility or EDI related incidents within your designated location and resolve wherever possible, providing updates to the control room and completed incident reports post event.
* Liaise with relevant departments relating to incidents where required
* Assist with supplying details in the event of an incident
* Assisting supporters with Accessibility requirements
* Ensure the radial gangway is kept clear
* Identify and report any potential safety issues
* Ensuring that the supervisor or relevant senior member of staff is alerted with the appropriate information given
* Being a direct link between Safeguarding, EDI and match-day staff
* Assist with providing Supporter details to the Police upon request in line with our GDPR "data sharing agreement"
* To work consistently to embed and champion safeguarding, equality and diversity into the match-day experience
* Promote an inclusive, positive, supportive, and welcoming image of the club at all times
* Ensure compliance with the terms of the Club Safeguarding Policies and Procedures, Health and Safety Legislation and Club's Equality Policy.
* Support accessibility and inclusion on match days including accessible areas and multi-faith rooms
* Attend and respond to briefing and debriefing in relation to safety management and to report any matters of concern or interest to the Stand Supervisor Steward.
* To undertake internal and/or external training including stewarding, Safeguarding, accessibility and EDI training required for the role as directed by the Club
* Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities which your manager or another senior officer of the club asks you to perform

Skills, Experience and Knowledge:

* Experience of working within crowd management preferably within a football environment
* Good communication skills
* Ability to deliver and maintain high levels of customer service
* Attention to detail
* Flexible approach to working hours
* Ability to work to instructions under pressure
* Knowledge and experience around Safeguarding, Accessibility, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
* Experience working within a Sporting Stadium
* Enhanced DBS or be willing to undertake this check if successful
* Previous Safeguarding experience with Children and/or adults at risk

The Club reserves the right to carry out risk assessments where content has been disclosed on a DBS disclosure if it feels that it is relevant to the job requirements. Failure to satisfy the Club and the PL's safeguarding requirements may lead to the job offer being withdrawn or, if they have already started employment, summary termination of the employment.
