We have an excellent opportunity available for a Quality Control Technician to join the team in Haverhill. As our QC Technician, you will support the department by carrying out 100% QC checks onsite. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Preparation of analytical equipment (MALDI-TOF, ESI LC/MS, HPLC) and reagents for quality control analysis.
2. Interpretation and analysis of analytical data, providing feedback to internal customers regarding failures for troubleshooting and prevention.
3. Accurate data logging and archiving in accordance with QMS standards.
4. Analysis of returned products and providing QC information on customer complaints.
5. Leading investigations to identify root causes and implementing preventative actions.
This is a shift-based position working Monday to Friday, from 12 pm to 8 pm.
Who You Are:
* Previous experience working in a laboratory or production environment, ideally within a highly regulated industry.
* Educated to degree level within a Science discipline (preferred).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in both written and numerical data.
* Ability to plan and prioritize within agreed production timeframes.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, and computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, mass spec geometry, LIMS). Knowledge of ISO or similar QMS is preferred.
* Manual dexterity required to handle materials and operate machinery.
