We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Lead Business Planner (UI/UX Producer) to join our innovative design team based in Gaydon. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and coordination of HMI/UI/UX workstreams, ensuring seamless integration into broader vehicle and brand design programmes.
You will transform programme requirements into credible, resource-aligned project plans and manage delivery across multiple creative disciplines, supporting the strategic objectives of the Brand Design team.
We're looking for a mid to senior-level professional who thrives in a fast-paced, design-led environment. You should be comfortable working to tight deadlines, managing global teams, and navigating cultural nuances to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and operationalise UI/UX project workflows and delivery structures.
Develop insightful project plans that align resources, deliverables, and timelines with broader programme goals.
Ensure cross-discipline integration of UI/UX workstreams within the design function.
Collaborate with creative operations, programme management, and business operations to ensure team capacity and timely delivery.
Support capacity planning and operational management of the Brand Design team.
Manage stakeholder relationships across interdependent design functions.
Essential Skills & Experience:
✅ Proven experience in:
Creating and managing detailed project plans using tools like MS Project, Wrike, Jira, or Adobe Workflow.
Stakeholder management and cross-functional team collaboration.
Resource planning across multiple creative disciplines.
Ensuring delivery teams understand requirements and key milestones.
✅ Critical Capabilities:
Strong understanding of UX/UI design processes and delivery.
Strategic planning of multi-disciplinary design projects.
Minimum 3 years' experience in UX/UI and software development environments.
Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
Experience in both agency and corporate settings.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable managing projects across cultures, geographies, and time zones.
Experience working with China-based teams is a plus.
Desirable Experience:
Familiarity with MX or Feishu tools for file and deliverable sharing.
Experience planning both physical and digital requirements on a single product/project.
Automotive design experience is highly desirable.
