We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support teaching and learning across the school. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in pupil progress. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as an HLTA:
* Delivering planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher
* Supporting pupils’ learning in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
* Assisting teachers with planning, preparation and assessment
* Creating and adapting resources to support pupils with varying needs
* Promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupils’ social and emotional development
* Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents
Ideal HLTA:
* Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience
* Have experience delivering lessons or interventions independently
* Be confident supporting learning across a range of subjects and year groups
* Be proactive, adaptable and able to use their initiative
* Have excellent communication and organisational skills as an HLTA.
