Environmental Manager – Ground Engineering Works (Sizewell, Suffolk) £50,000-£65,000 Our client are supporting the delivery of one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects – Sizewell C – and seeking an Environmental Manager to join the ground engineering works team. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project-specific requirements Develop and implement environmental risk assessments and mitigation strategies Prepare and maintain key documentation (CEMPs, water/nuisance/pollution plans) Apply for environmental permits and liaise with regulators as required Monitor on-site performance and advise on air, noise, water, waste, and ecology measures Conduct inspections, audits, and support incident investigations Provide training and promote environmental awareness across teams and subcontractors Track and interpret emerging environmental regulations, providing guidance to project teams Analyse environmental data and contribute to internal reports and meetings Ensure accurate reporting and client communication on environmental performance Requirements: Degree in an environmental discipline (preferred) IEMA Associate membership Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within construction Strong IT, communication, and project management skills Proactive, solution-focused mindset and ability to work independently Note: You must have the right to work in the UK.
