Overview
Senior Field Service Engineer – Stone (3 days a week).
Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate records and reporting systems for customer issues, maintenance, and resolutions.
* Provide technical support to both customers and colleagues, addressing technical requirements and queries.
* Diagnose and resolve faults in complex systems.
* Support Sales & Tendering teams by sharing customer and site-specific expertise.
* Prepare technical documents, including test specifications and reports.
* Ensure compliance with Quality Management, Safety, and accounting procedures.
* Manage customer spares and standby systems effectively.
* Develop method statements and risk assessments for on-site activities.
* Adhere to the company Electrical Safety Management System.
* Recognise and manage environmental risks relevant to the business unit.
Skills & Experience / Qualifications
* Strong industry experience, with flexibility to work at sites nationwide.
* Solid knowledge of SCADA, RTUs, electrical protection, and critical telecommunications solutions.
* Familiarity with communication networks and IEC61850.
* Customer-focused with excellent verbal and written English skills.
* HNC/HND (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
