Position: Insurance Business Analyst (Property & Casualty – Casualty Focus)
Location: Remote (Contract Position)
Overview:
Insurance Business Analyst with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, specifically in Casualty lines. This remote contract role supports high-impact initiatives within the Lloyd’s of London insurance and reinsurance ecosystem.
Key Qualifications:
* 10–15 years of IT experience, including 5+ years in the insurance industry, with a focus on P&C and Casualty lines.
* Proven track record as a Business Analyst working across Claims, Policy, and Underwriting functions.
* In-depth knowledge of the Lloyd’s of London market and its regulatory framework.
* Strong background in insurance/reinsurance operations and supporting technologies.
* Skilled in data analysis and experienced with reporting tools for delivering business insights.
* Expertise in producing high-quality documentation: business cases, specifications, wireframes, and report templates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with business users to gather, validate, and analyze requirements.
* Convert business needs into detailed technical specifications and documentation.
* Organize and facilitate brainstorming workshops for solution design and planning.
* Prepare clear and structured business requirements and functional documentation.
* Develop and manage comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and metrics.
* Partner closely with IT teams throughout the development and implementation lifecycle.
