Overview
Reporting into the Group Reporting Systems Manager, you will assist in ensuring the smooth operation of the Group Finance SAP BPC group consolidation reporting systems and processes. The role is also key in supporting systems and reporting improvements to the benefit of the wider Finance community.
You will manage Nomad’s SAP BPC group reporting and consolidation system (BPC FC), perform related SOX controls, develop system and report/input forms, update training materials, and deliver end-user training.
Proficiency in SAP BPC and AFO-EPM for MS Excel is required to support the finance community, working with Group IT and third-party suppliers on IT matters impacting reporting systems.
Responsibilities
* Set up and manage reporting cycles using BPFs, revising and enhancing them as needed
* Manage BPC security ensuring only authorized users have access
* Analyze and improve internal business processes in collaboration with the Group Finance team
* Participate in system upgrades and changes
* Design, test, and implement related systems and interfaces
* Maintain and enhance Excel AFO-EPM reports and input forms, and create new ones
* Troubleshoot system and reporting issues, including data mismatches
* Manage BPC master data, including chart of accounts and reporting hierarchy
* Document finance system processes
* Provide ad hoc project support
* Test new systems and contribute to their design
* Provide end-user training and maintain documentation
Accountabilities
* Ensure the proper functioning of Nomad’s group reporting system (BPC FC)
* Ensure authorized access to the system
* Perform group reporting system controls accurately and timely
Qualifications
* At least 2 years of experience with accounting/finance systems
* Hands-on experience with BPC as a technical/functional analyst or super user
* Skills in AFO-EPM reporting for developing reports/input forms
* Experience with BPF configuration/deployment and BPC business rules
* Knowledge of financial statements and IFRS accounting practices
* Understanding of financial and accounting concepts
* Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
* Analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
* Self-motivated to work on multiple projects and learn continuously
* Understanding of data structures and their business importance
* Ability to analyze business needs and translate into technical and functional specifications
* Experience with SAP BW, SAP ECC FI-GL, CO-PA, SAP S4 Hana, and SAP S4H Group Reporting
* Knowledge of BPC script logic and involvement in strategic projects and system implementations
* Familiarity with process mapping and audit controls, SOX experience preferred
