About the Role About B&M Waste Part of the Beauparc Group, we’re leaders in sustainable waste management. This role is based in Birmingham (B8 1AH). Join our team and help drive a cleaner future. The Role Operate modern Curtainsider HGVs (Moffett‑qualified) to collect, transport and deliver waste/commodities (e.g. bales) across Birmingham and the West Midlands. Early shifts start between 4am–6am, Monday to Friday; occasional Saturdays. Provide cover on RoRo (Roll‑on/Roll‑off) operations when required — training provided. Key Responsibilities Safely transport waste/commodities (bales, etc.) using Curtainsider HGVs. Moffett‑qualified; deliver to diverse sites (some deliveries may require tail‑lift operations). Plan efficient routes to maximise productivity and minimise environmental impact. Deliver great customer service — keep sites tidy and position bins correctly. Conduct daily DVSA‑compliant vehicle checks and report defects. Maintain accurate digital records via tablet for waste transfer documentation. Adhere to waste duty of care, drivers’ hours and health & safety regulations. Provide RoRo cover when needed (post‑training). What You’ll Need Valid UK C licence current Driver CPC. Digital tachograph card. Physical fitness for manual handling. Customer‑focused communication skills. Moffett qualification (for deliveries/commodities). Willingness to learn RoRo and cover RoRo work when required. Experience with waste/commodity transport (bales, etc.) preferred.
